  6. adrian says:

hi. what school can you suggest na maganda ang turo for culinary? nalilito kasi ako dahil sa mga nabasa kong blogs.

  7. gabby says:

i never heard aha before pero dahil nacurious ako sa link mo dv, nagresearch tuloy ako. madami pala silang school sa ibang bansa. at sumasali pa competitions sa ibang bansa din? ayos!

  8. adrian says:

nasan na yung link na sinasabi mo gabby?

  9. gabby says:
  10. adrian says:

  14. lalaine says:

im from canada and looking for culinary school in manila. i asked my tita to call aha for me. and sabi naman nya, mukhang okay naman daw ang aha lalo na when it comes to internships.

  15. i am a graduate of MIHCA and i can testify how impressed i am with the way they implement their program. This institution uses the modules from Johnson and Wales University and the chefs here are hands-on when it comes to teaching their students. MIHCA had also garnered several international competitions, the most recent would be that of HOFEX 2011 held at HK. They focuses more on french cooking. Downside would be the culture you are to build in the kitchen but it all depends on which batch you will be with and how you will develop camaraderie towards one another.

  16. pls. include each website so it is easy to know where to enroll.thanks

  17. heizel says:

  18. sandice says:

hehe.buti pa dito samin sa aha.more on lab. kaya matututo ka.=)

  20. heizel says:

that’s the point egie. since nasa culinary schol tayo, it’s not enough na puro lecture. dapat may hands on din. eh mas madami pa ang lecture kesa sa lab. pano mo ma-aapply yung lecture?
    that’s why tatransfer na ko.

  21. wellyou do have a point heizel! HRM student ako. well yeah may mga lectures din naman kami pero kaunti lang mahaba ang lab namin. most are gen subjects. pero di ba kung culinaty na talaga, dapat mas matindi yung lab.

  22. joan biadno says:

i really want to enter aculinary school but because of financial problem,i could.can you advise me on how to getculinary scholarship or are there culinary schools offering full scholarship?

  23. christian santos says:

share ko lang to ah.may scholarship man o wala, dapat tingnan mo kung worth it ba yung pagpasok sa school na yan.

  24. i second the mtion! tsaka dapat more on hands-on hindi yung puro lecture. tulad namin dito sa global!!!puro nalang lecture! kaya nga kami ngculinary eh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  25. haribon says:

i know people who graduated from global, mihca and treston. super mahal ng tuition pero they even cant find a job kahit dito sa pilipinas.see?

  26. jonathan says:

i also have friend from mihca. nakakaawa dahil puro basic naman pala tinuturo don.

  27. Kenneth says:

Naku haribon, check MIHCA’s facebook page to see job postings for students.

  28. Kenneth says:

@ Jonathan- I’m a culinary graduate from MIHCA batch 4-2010, malabo yung sinasabi mo na basic lang. Try mong magpunta sa MIHCA kapag me student production to see the food na nilalabas nila :)

  29. lahat naman ng school eh tumutulong sa students for them to get a job. what im trying to say is, hindi ba mas mganda na pumasok ka sa isang school na pangalan palang, palaban na. right?

  30. That’s right Jet. Most Culinary schools offer employment assistance to their students after they graduate. But not all really do that. Good things my brother studied in ASHA. He just finished his Barista course and now he’s working for one of their partner coffee shops.

I’m also thinking of enrolling in their Culinary course early next year. Course fees are reasonable naman. They have good facilities and their instructors are respected in the industry. Check nyo website nila asha.edu.ph. And here’s their number too, 623-3412

  31. enrol k s AHA! 80% Hands-on! COOL!

    It seems more challenging
    than other courses.
Kea gusto ko po malaman mga
    important details about culinary!

  41. curacha says:

  42. nino palaca says:
